This mandolin has a Chocolate brown Varnish Finish
and pearl scroll work in the headstock faceplate.
Waverly Tuners with Pearl buttons, an Allen Chrome Tailpiece and a McIntyre Feather Pickup internally mounted and plumbed to the endpin jack. Lawrence's Signature "ASL" in Pearl is inlayed at the 12th fret.
This mandolin lives in a White Calton Case with a green velvet lining. The case had a Calton Metal Signature Plate on it engraved with the name Johnny Green.
The case has a number of stickers on top including a prominent and large Hinano Beer Sticker, a KKUP Radio Sticker, a KPIG radio Sticker and a Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Insignia among others.
On the bottom of the case, written large in faded black sharpie is Sam Bush's Autograph.
I'm offering $100 for information leading to the recovery of this cherished and heavily played mandolin.
This indtrument was stolen from my car on Sunday, September 18th at around 3 PM on highway 49 on the Amador/ El Dorado County line in Central CA.
When this theft occured I was swimming in the Cosumnes River, no more than 20 minutes after completing a set with my band at a Bluegrass Festival in Plymouth, CA.
