Double Bass Stool

Hi,
Got this Franklin foldable bar stool (Ikea) for $10 CDN on Kijiji. Made of molded plywood. Height just right for me, I'm 6 ft. Both positions (half sit and sit) are confortable. I appreciate the foot rest.

I use the National Public seating stool with the cushion, as well as the Double Trolley when I travel.

I saw this in a store window in Holland a few days ago. It's called the "Swopper". It looks very comfortable and solid, but no footrest, and probably too heavy to gig with. Not cheap either at ~$770, but man, if you want something totally deluxe in your practice or teaching studio...

I had one of these. Tried to use it on and off for years. "For me" it was just way too uncomfortable after a short while.

I'm probably too short for that model.
A standard 29" stool works great for me.

My teacher had one of those. They move around a little bit like a balance ball. Might be hard to get used to if you usually use a normal stool. They are also quite heavy, and not very portable. The swooper doesn't go very high.
The company also make a standing leaning stool too that looks interesting. I'm not sure how durable it would be.
