strap lock system for GTBD-7?

i'm using a set of Warwick strap locks on my GT-7 right now.. they seem to work just fine.. they are like Dunlops, but the diameter of the lock is smaller, and sometimes you have to jiggle the lock to get it into the pin.. other than that, they are pretty nice..

i eventually will have a set recessed into the body like the USAs..

I cant actually see how dunlop straplocks would slip, do you mean the strap retainer thingies they sell (the cheap clip things)?

The proper ones really shouldnt have any problem no matter how high or low you play.

Any proper strap lock system is only as secure as the screw holding it into the body. I've had whole assemblies drop out for that reason.

I've found that the screws supplied with the Dunlops are a little bit more substantial than most of the others, and you can always do the old toothpick & wood glue trick if it turns out the holes are a little bit worn.
