Strap recommendations

So, I have a new bass on the way (NBD post once it's here) - I need some suggestions on a new strap for it.

Vintage white jazz bass, with a matching headstock and rosewood neck. Currently a BWB pickguard, but I'll probably tort it up. Or not, I'm undecided as of yet.

Any strap (including colour) recommendations? I'm not looking to spend mega bucks, but I need something cool looking and comfortable. I wear my basses low-ish. Thank you in advance :)

Check out Couch Straps. Pick a color combo that speaks to you. They have a nice white / red strap.

I agree 100% and they’ve become my strap brand of choice. I always find colors / patterns that accent my guitar nicely.

For cheap and comfy, you can do worse than those D'addario padded Bass Straps. For good and comfy, I prefer Levy's padded leather straps. The MSS2-4 is a longtime favorite of mine, even though it's very wide and looks a bit orthopedic. But the MSS2 is nice as well, and they have a cheaper one that looks a lot like the MSS2 whose model number escapes me at the moment. If you like them down low, you might consider getting the Levy's straps in extra long. As for color, always black for me. No other color will do.
