I finally got my string combination the way I like it. After a lot of money and trying to explain to my wife why I am buying so many strings, that was the hard part. LOL. First, Let's start with the E and A string. Comes from a Dunlop stainless steel super bright 40/100. E string is a 100, A sting is a 80. Second, D and G string comes from a Dunlop Nickel Wound 60/120. D string is a 80, G string is a 60. That means I am running a 100,80,80,60. It works, I like it. My next step is to buy an affordable Fan Fret, that will also help bring the tones closer together.
