I have a thirty year old guild pilot 4 string using reg gauge round wound strings anybody know the measurement between the strings I have e string to close to edge must have moved when I put new strings on thanks for any help

Is it possible the bridge shifted?

If it's a bolt-on neck, is it possible that the neck might have shifted in its neck pocket, which would make a string closer to the edge of the fretboard?

Without being an expert of any kind, these are a couple of things I've dealt with when seeing the same thing.
