strings for an epiphone thunderbird

it has a natural low growl to it, so do i put bright strings on it to balance it out? or strings with a nice growl to them to boost the metal sound, what do i do?

Well if you want to keep the growling grungyness, put medium to heavy gauge strings on it. I reccomend DR Lo-Riders for that
