Strings for Cort GB75JH

I have had one of these basses for a couple of years. It is superb in a number of respects, but I find the mids to be a bit thin on this bass. Before I dive into swapping the bridge (or pickups), I would prefer to see if strings can take care of this. I am most curious about DR Sunbeams at the moment since I can get singles (I would do a 40-130 set).

If you have other string recommendations I would be curious to them. However, if they are unavailable in 40-100 or below I will not be trying them (I can't think of too many brands that would not have this option).

The Sunbeams, being round-core, are quite flexible, especially in 40-100. Are you ok with that? Also, they're not the most mid-heavy string based on my experience, although their overall tonal quality is very pleasing with a nice warm bottom end with a sparkly top end without being overly zingy or harsh.

I have tried several and have found the Warwick Black Label to be the most impressive, but it has been a minute since I had them on there.

Cort GB75JH is 35 scale bass, i recall the Dunlop SBN and Cobalt flat long scale may not fill the nut slot nicely on both B and E string since the omega himass bridge has extent ball end length than regular bend bridge.

DR bass string has no such issue. Suggest DR lo rider Nickel or SS a try.

I own the GB74JJ in 34 scale previously , the VTB-ST hum cancelling alnico V pickups sound more scoop on Swamp Ash body, the Cobalt 2814 flat just give the bass enough meaty juicy bite.
This pickups sound transform to modern MID-ish vibe on my Bacchus BJB1RSM jazz bass.

It has SS Lo-Riders on it now. I am not impressed.

I find that odd since I like stainless steel strings. Perhaps the Nickels should get a shot.

I've tried both the SS LRs and the Nickel LRs and found the NLRs to be fatter and warmer in mids.
