Strings for Warwick Corvette

It's really a matter of preference for you - I think that either will work very well. I put a set of DR Hi-Beams on my Corvette $$ and actually find them to be a little bright. I might be trying some nickels next. Play them both and see what works better for you!

i really really like optima golds on corvettes. there super bright and lively, they just sound great. btw what style of music do you play?

i actaully use them for metal. it helps me get a good attack without picking

Hey thanks for the replies. I'm usually playing straight up rock music. Bands like RATM, 311, RHCP, DMB, etc. I guess i want something thats mellow enough to play DMB style while bright enough to slap. I guess I'll start with some nickels maybe GHS since thats what i'm used to. I was just curious what other warwick users like. Thanks for your help everyone.

I also love the DR Sunbeams but the Hi Beams make my Corvette come to life. I like the Sunbeams for a smoother sound, sort of vintage but still lively. They are very smooth under the fingers. They seem to have the same mild tension as the Hi Beams as they both have a round core. Fat Beams have a roundcore but they seem to feel a bit tighter.
