I just got a used neck which was finished by the builder with a couple coats of nitrocellulose lacquer.
The previous owner put a lot of wear on it, in some places right down to the wood, and now the maple is dirty looking in spots. I’ve got a big bottle of Tru Oil and want to make the neck look almost new.
What is the best way to take nitro off a fretted maple neck and fretboard?
