Strobostomp2 Making popping noise??!

Just curious if anyone has experienced this or has any insight.
When I step on the switch to de-activate the tuner( un-mute) I get a significant popping sound. Tried a few different settings on the internal mini switches, but nothing seemed to fix it. It even happened through the P.A. when my signal chain was: Bass/DI/ 1/4 out of DI to tuner, XLR from DI to the house.

Is it a true bypass switch? That can happen with them fairly randomly.

Yup.
Mine does sometimes.
Other times it's silent.

OP:
You can set the dip switches to NOT be true bypass... ie: tuner is on all the time, stomp switch just mutes the signal. If you can't figure it out, I can look it up for you, but I think it says right on it.

Yeah, the diagram inside the tuner showed how to make it a non true bypass, with the internal mini switches, but I am still getting a popping noise with this setting. Is there any remedy?
