Struggling with Sabbath

Todd! Good to see you over here bud! Always enjoy the vids man. Wish I could play like you do but I seem to lack something. Talent probably

Appreciate all the cool replies over here guys, I'm on kind of a layoff at the moment. The band has been through about 5 singers, 3 drummers and I think like 3 or 4 bass players (haha!!) I've been in and out and back in! Did the same when I played with Dallas in Chains, which was my best gig to date. We actually did alright =) Bless Harry the guitar guy though, he keeps trying to round up some poor souls to make his band. I'll help him best I can whenever he gets another singer and drummer since the last guys apparently fell off the face of the earth.

Well that's the way it goes I guess. Harry's a good dude and a good player, not sure what the problem is there. Anyway, I'll probably get back to working on this stuff eventually. Harry seems to like my playing and I enjoy doing it so I guess it's cool in some way or another.

The one KEY thing you cannot compensate for until you actually rehearse with your prospective band is:

How are their ears interpreting the music and how well are they copping the character? Plus, will you be able to click personally (almost as important) and musically?

Hope it comes together for you and results in onstage success.
