I'm looking for a new desk, what do you guys use?
My practice space / studio is in a bed room about 14 by 14
I have an electronic drum. I down't have or need a lot of outboard gear. I don't need any rack space,

I want something solid pretty small

What do you recommend?

I recently got a Cooler Master GD160. It's 1600mm or 63 inches wide. Wide enough for 2 monitors. 3 position adjustable height. It's a gaming desk but I'm not a gamer. It's very sturdy and doesn't move. Comes with a mat that covers the whole desk. Very easy to assemble. There's a lot of other brands that are of similar design.

Bought one of these during the pandemic. It’s an On-Stage WS-7500. I’s almost $300 these days, I only paid a little over $200.

The computer, monitor and audio interface are on the top shelf, MIDI keyboard on the large shelf and the computer keyboard and mouse on the pull out shelf. My speakers are on stands.

It’s a modular system, I already owned a sidecar with a 19” rack below the table top but I don’t use it now because I no longer have any rack gear

Put an Oxford Sit Stand in the studio and it's incredible. Being able to change the height through a session is amazing. Nice cutout for keyboard drawer is key in low position. Solid customer service as well. Not inexpensive but well built.

I got a little crazy post COVID and made my own, but really happy how it turned out. I've gotten quite a bit of use out of it and added a decent chair, a nice drafting table chair so can be set at bar stool height when the workstation is raised. Works great for playing and recording... What's funny is I built the slider for 48 key pad surface and eventually upgraded from the 24 in the picture. I mostly use a mouse and keyboard. The electric adjustable base was cheaper than going with a regular static frame, go figure.
