Studio to live

I am currently working on a recording with my band and recently stumbled upon an amazing tone. Maybe not the most original but, it is absolutely perfect in the mix and makes all band members happy.
It's a P-bass Highway One with Duncan Quarterpound pickup and LaBella 760FM flats to Focusrite pre to Pultec EQ to LA-2A to Apogee converters to Protools HD.
Does anyone have any idea how I can duplicate this live?
Do I just need to suck it up and get a heavy tube head and enormous cab? I'm not looking for more volume live but I am looking for more depth.
I currently use a Pod XT to Crown Microtech 1200 to an old Mesa 115 Diesel live. I love the Pod but it seems kinda two dimensional after this recording experience.

Are you playing with P.A. support? I would think the same sound processing you recorded with (or something that emulates it as closely as possible) through your P.A. is what you're going for, right?

Too simple. Someone tell me what I'm missing here.

Yeah, I like the PA sound but, I can never really hear it on stage. I'm not looking for lots of volume just that big sound that seems to sit under everything.
My current cabinet just seems to roll off pretty hard just below 100Hz.
Instead of try to punch through with midrange (like I usually do) I just want to support everything better.
Plus, we have a different sound man at every show. It's easier to just show him/her what we sound like than try and explain a sound that we can't produce.

If you want it to sound on stage like it did direct in the studio, you'll need a cabinet that sounds a lot more natural than 99% of the bass cabs out there (few folks ever set the amp flat and run a CD or MP3 through their rig to find how how truly unnatural their cabinet it is).

Acmebass.com makes the best cab I've heard so far.

The reference (speakers) in the studio were , hopefully, full range , pretty flat speakers like all respectable studios.
So in order to duplicate that in a normal bass amp is close to impossible.
You'll have better chances with using PA gear as a bass amp.

An LA-610 can be a good choice for what you used for a lot cheaper.
