Hey Justin, couple questions.
1) Do you prefer to track bass as a dry DI and reamp added effects (amp tracks, compression, preamp color, overdrive, etc) after as needed by the mix, or commit to a sound on the way in? Or both?
2) Do you have any 1 signal chain or piece of gear for recording bass in the studio that you always always must include while tracking, regardless of the project? Or do you always start each project with a blank slate and see what sounds best each time?
