Double Bass studying in copenhagen

i have just been given the opportunity to spend july in copenhagen, and if at all possible i would be very interested in studying (classical) bass while i'm there.

would anyone be able to recommend a good player/teacher in that area and a place to rent a bass for that month? i have heard good things about the players in the royal danish opera and i saw the listing of jorgen nielsen's violinbyggeri on gollihur's page, but i don't know anything first hand about either.

i attempted to publish this post in the pedagogy section, but i do not have sufficient permissions to do so.

thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

Contact the member basslaerling, he was runner up at Curtis this year and has studied or taken lessons with all the main teachers in the region (including Malmö across the bridge).
He will be able to give you a neutral run down of who the teachers are.
