While terribly expensive... It's a pro peice of equipment.

Thus the price. We can name any number of high end pieces that could be swapped out for cheaper counterparts.. the point is they just are not the same...

that is not what I call a "Stupid Good Deal" I paid 200 for mine, it quit working, I sent it back and they fixed it for me free of charge.
It's the best tuner in pedal form out there...

I feel inadequate. I tune with a tuning fork. No real reason to pay 200$ on a tuner when I could get a perfectly fine bass And tune it for that price.

These are used to set the intonation of your instrument. A vital asset. I have just paid other dudes to set up my basses and they use a Strobo..

Wish it had LEDs rather than an LCD screen- I just couldn't see it with my bad eyes and had to sell mine. I also found that it wasn't quite quick enough to use when practicing fretless because it was so accurate. Great tuner though.

Because I've tried them all and it is. Makes you realize how out of tune you were before. Great for live gigs. Acts as a mute when you tune, also. Super accurate just like the units they make for luthiers. Great to intonate with.
