Substitute for a Fender Fidelitron

Hi all you guys, I have a cabronita bass sitting still for the last year or so, never really enjoyed the sound of the pickup, but lived the look.

Do any of you know which pickups would fit in this thing without make any changes cosmetically?

I have their g----r pickups in a Gretsch and they sound amazing. Tom seems to go through some painstaking research to make sure the pickups sound spot on. The thunder series is what I'm talking about. Different mounting options available for each pickup.

Maybe consider rewinding those to a different spec. Not that much more than a new pickup. Made to order. Not many real choices that have that look. There are many that size but not with Filtertron cosmetics.
