Success! Studio monitor buzz fixed

Last week I noticed my right studio monitor making a nasty buzzing / distortion sound.

Unplugged the cable, plugged it back in, noise still there. Solo'd the left speaker, the right, switched the inputs, Identified that it really was the right speaker with the problem and not the sound source or cable. Was busy, and left it at that.

Today, time off, so I lifted the speaker off the desk, put it on the floor and with a Phillips screwdriver tightened every screw I had access too. A few were a bit loose. Set the speaker back in place, plugged it back in and voila, no more buzz / distortion, fixed!

Sometimes it's the simple things...
