Moved from "strings".
I recently put a new fingerboard on my 50 (or so) year-old carved Czech roundback. And put on new Spirocore Weichs. The sound, arco and pizz, was wonderful. I noticed at a gig the other day that my bridge had tilted forward. I knocked it back. Now the G string has become nasal in pizz. Sounds good arco. Well balanced, but, pizz., nasal from about the Bb to Eb. The nasalness seems to come from the fingerboard around the F#-A. Not fingerboard noise, no buzz, just nasalness. I raised the adjustable bridge a taste and it didn't help.
Any ideas?
