Sugegstions for DI box around $200

I need to get a DI box for a couple churches I play at that are large and uses IEM. I want a DI box that will give be easy to use and give me the cleanest tone possible while letting my bass shine through. I'm currently using my Genzler 800 as a DI with no speaker load for these gigs and it sounds wonderful but would like to get a nice DI. What are the best choices for me. The boards I will be running to will have the option of phantom power.

I'll be playing these beauties through it so the basses sound great by theirselves. When I use just my Genzler 800 as a DI with no cabinet I use the pre EQ setting most of the time.

If you cable both the Radial Bassbone is extremely helpful... the Radial JDI is great. There is a GT Ditto Brick in the GFs for $200... very tempting... DBX (or BSS - also a Harmon company) have some very clean, well priced DI's.

The JDI has a merge function that might be usefully. Basically it parallels the in and through so they both act as through. Let's you cable two similar basses on one DI...

I was playing a Lull 4 through a JDI into my Soundcraft SI Expression console last night. Just playing with the compressor in the board to better understand it. Dang that is a good sounding setup...

Well I finally sprung for a New Rupert Neeves RNDI Box. My sweetwater rep gave me such a huge discount that I couldn't pass it up. Really thought about getting one of the Sonic Nuance TDI because of the options but went with the RNDI first. I may still get a TDI soon because of the tuner and feature set it offers. Thanks for the great feedback on this thread.

Ditto on all those. I'm JDI guy but I also have a bunch of DBX DI's and they are great for well under $100.

Ok so the RNDI didn't work out. Have you though about a passive, transformer based unit like the JDI. I find the sound of really good active DI's to be kinda sterile, or maybe brittle or maybe brite is a better word - that is a good thing in many circumstances like keyboards but I kinda like the 'mellowing' effect of a good passive on my bass.

You have a good price on the RNDI, I doubt it will last long.
