Suggest a good jazzy pickup like these sounds?

I play metal, and I'm currently using an Epiphone Thunderbird with the stock pickups. The tone is real flat and bland.
I'd really like to have a jazzy "CHUNG CHUNG" kind of tone.

Any suggestions? I realize this is also amp dependent, so any amp suggestions as well?

It doesn't seem like you need new pickups. Have you tried stainless steel strings? Pick near the bridge and favour the bridge pickup as well.

I'm pretty sure Juan used Svt Classics and Jackson's with a active Pj setup. A band I was in a few years back did Dance and Lay it down and I was able to get close to his tone with a Gibson thunderbird with a set of active emg's and my Svt.
