Details

Body made in 2017 (mint condition, not even light scratches), neck (mint condition) made in 2021

Suhr's amazing warranty policy covered the original neck arriving warped from previous owner. They built an entirely new neck for me for free...The lifetime warranty will pass on to you.

I bought this bass from the original owner in 2021. He said it was made in 2017.

Will come with gig bag, well and safely packed.

Sounds like a vintage Fender jazz, but with quality and clarity of tone through the roof.

See Youtube video for all sounds:

Used a GK Plek with everything level, no compression. Strings in video are Chrome flats. Currently strung with D'Addario nickel roundwounds.

Neck is super slim and absolutely flawless and comfortable. Weights around 9 and 1/2 pounds.

From the Suhr website:

The Suhr Classic J is based on the iconic electric bass designs of the 1960’s. This shape has helped define the electric bass guitar for over half a century. The Classic J’s sleek frame, asymmetrical body shape, and slim vintage neck profile make for an instrument that combines vintage style with modern improvements.

Retails at $3,200. PRICE: $2,000.

Serial JS2L3C has a gloss urethane finish for the body and satin finish on the neck.

Instruments with nitro/lacquer finish would have the "Antique" moniker. This is not "Antique"
