I somehow doubt, given the long and storied history of TB, that he was the first.....but it is a bit - unusual.

its not bad i dont drive through town so that has no effect on me...other than that im well armed so im not too shaken up. we will see if it hits the fan tomorrow and they have to put the embers of our city out like a giant cigerette butt.


so did Tommy really quit?!?! like for real. i really thought that he was having fun with it then all of the sudden it all went to hell. he will be back. hes a cool kid for a young buck and i dont think anyone meant him malice so i really hope he stays on...but i dont think anyone should be ashamed and i think it was pretty light hearted fun pokin..a lil thicker skin will serve him well in the long run

He'll be back , his threads just kinda blow up like this sometimes because he is 14 his thinking level and humor is different, i am only 19 and when i was his age i would have got flammed worse if i were here. I remember asking why my neck was 2 colors and the guy had to say well thats a fretboard.:D Tommys a cool cat.

Plus alot of people jump on others for simple spelling errors, it happens, no need for grammer patrol.

I know tommy is a sprout but he has an amazing enthusiasm for bass and the threads (and aquiring gear/photoshops of gear) but as young as he is he has pretty decent ideas and statements to add to the threads and kinda knows what hes talking about. i encourage him to come back and i hope he knows that he IS a member here. we all take our jabs in good fun and we all get picked on from time to time but its rarely out of bad will and more out of typical male comraderie..boys will be boys

I was serious. I enjoyed it a LOT. It may have been a "bit" at Tommy's expense, but it is a boy's club, a treehouse, we all have decoder rings and secret underwear.
