Sunglasses....

Accidentally order these cheapos for work(ANSI Z87.1 ok'ed) before Satriani started wearing something similar. We both have the same haircut so it's all good. Got one of each:
black=sunny days, clear=inside dark buildings at work, mirrors for fun.

They look nice - and identical to the American Optical glasses but $50 more; both seem to be made in the US.

Check the history link at American optical: History | AO Eyewear, Inc.

Randolph Enginering sometimes around Fathers Day with a good discount( 25-30%) a good time to watch if you want to save

When you get up in the morning and the light has hurt your head
The first thing you do when you get up out of bed
Is hit that streets a-runnin' and try to beat the masses
And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Spied a little thing and I followed her all night
In a funky fine levis and her sweater's kind of tight
She had a west coast strut that was as sweet as molases
But what really knocked me out was her cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

(solo)

Now go out and get yourself some big black frames
With the glass so dark thay won't even know your name
And the choice is up to you cause they come in two classes:
Rhinestone shades or cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

I've got a pair of RayBan 3483's that are polarized. I stopped wearing cheap sunglasses a while ago, and I try to take care of mine. A good pair of sunglasses can last for years. And the polarized lenses absolutely help me to see better in certain conditions. And it's a style that's pretty classic.

For fishing:

Typhoon - Cedros Isle.
Black wraparound frames.
Green mirror lenses. Polarized aqua view.
For use under intense sunlight conditions.
$85.

You know what I'd like to find? A high quality pair of sunglasses that are NOT polarized, so I can wear them while motorcycling. In any other situation I like polarized lenses, but the plastic face shield on my helmet seems to have a little bit of its own polarization at a different angle, and the combination makes everything look weird. Also it's hard to read the LCD gauges. Any ideas?

Aircraft pilot sunglasses are not polarized since the new aircraft have glass cockpits, meaning flat screens instead of gauges.
Here is a link to Sporty's pilot shop. And as others have stated, Randolph's are well made. Also, they carry other brands too.

Got a pair of these on the way. Mine have green lenses though (as far as I remember, I ordered them ages ago). I'm either going to look awesome, or like a massive, massive nerd.

...Probably the latter.
