That does not look like a stock jack plate… not does it look like stock wiring.

Yes, that’s a Sorado cab, the downmarket version of the 200s(ironically, the heads are identical). That has a newer, modern input jack plate modded in. Those drivers are the old CTS that came with that particular cab, not the greatest.
Are we sure the two input jacks are not connected (in parallel) on the back side of the input plate?
If the cab was used by a guitar player it may have been wired stereo. For bass, determine the impedance of the drivers and then wire them to provide an appropriate load for the amp.
The schematic for the 200s shows switching jacks that are connected in parallel.
With one cab connected to the Speaker jack, the amp expect 8 ohms. If you insert a plug into the EXT jack it switches the expected load to 4 ohms. So if the drivers in the cab are both 8 ohms and the amp is configured like the schematic, you can plug one jack into Speaker and the other jack into EXT.
Another option would be to wire two 8 ohms drivers in parallel to the jack plate on the cab for a 4 ohm load. Then you can run one speaker cable to the EXT jack on the amp.
If the drivers are 4 ohms, wire them to the jack plate in series for an 8 ohm load, and use the Speaker jack on the amp.
The amp's outputs can also be wired for 16 ohm and 8 ohm outputs. So it's a good idea to confirm how the amp is wired.

Yes, I am sure. One wire goes to one jack and one wire goes to the other jack. I think I will wire the two speakers together in parallel and either other or the other can be used to connect an external speaker if needed. Does that sound logical?
This is the best option for bass IMHO.
However, you could reconfigure the amp to run at 16 ohms and 8 ohms. Then connect the drivers in series to the jack plate. Connect the cab to the Speaker jack on the amp.
My old 200s was 4 ohms so I agree with Wasnex to wire in parallel and use it at 4 ohms to get all of that 200 watts of power @4 ohms. If you have the 200S head, all the better! Enjoy and let us know how it sounds!

So it is, I did not inspect close enough; they just looked like the ones in the cab I had way back when.
It should be marked on the back, right at the outputs, but stickers can come off over the decades. The earliest ones were 16/8, then switched to 8/4 sometime in 1968, approximately.
Correct. The Sorado cabinet I had in the mid '00s from September 1969 (written on the inside of the back panel) had a circular input "panel" with only one 1/4" jack.
It's an old amp that may or may not still be configured the way it was when it left the factory.
OK, this is how those work(if it is stock)…the higher rated output is to be used initially, so you should only run that into a cab that would be theoretically wired 16 ohm(which, back in the day, would be dual 8 ohm drivers wired in series). Then…a second cab to be added should also be wired 16 ohm, connected to the “8 ohm extension” out. It is a switching type, and should not be used by itself. When pluged in, it redirects to total load on the amp to the 8 ohm tap.
