Supercollider, does it sit well in the mix?

People with experience on this pedal how does it sit in a rock mix like muse's?

The sc has a reputation of being a 'better' muff, but ive tried the big muff pi and it gets lost in the mix too easily.

This is gonna depend on a lot of variables, especially what EQ you feed the SC (it's tone setting), and what settings are on the amp.
As long as you don't cut mids and try not to cut the treble excessively at any stage you should be okay.
This also depends on whether the other guitarists are using fuzz at the same time too.

I use mine with flats and have no worries being heard through two guitarists, but I do use a slight volume boost with mine to give certain parts OOMPH!

Honestly - if you want a fuzz for cutting through - there are other options like the Brown Dog, Mammoth etc.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. But its a shame the (mini) supercollider ive been eyeing on the sales forum has been sold off.

I went a used smallsound awesome fuzzmachine instead(after reviews at bassfuzz)...i should get it by tomorrow. Cant wait!

The Fuzzrocious Grey Stache is another option, and better if you're looking for Muff. Grey Stache = king of Muffs. TAFM = a whole different monster, but also very amazing

And yes, to answer the OP, I had great luck with it in a mix.

The team awesome fuzzmachine's deal didnt go through, seller backed out at the last minute. So I did some research and read about grey starche and all the good press it got. Msged Ryan about it, he says I have to wait till March to get it

But he says he has a momster which is similar to the grey stache but with a gate and more gain in stock. Following the advise of fellow tber headless lama, i snapped it up.

should be at my door steps in 2 weeks : D
