Came home from a gig and found this on my doorstep. It’s my first Sushi Box pedal. Anyone else using one of these? I’m thinking end of chain boost? How are you using it?

Plug into it. Let it warm your sound with tubey goodness. Put it wherever in the chain that makes sense to you.
To distill that huge thread down somewhat, the most popular application seems to be at/near the end of the signal chain, but plenty of folks are using it near the beginning, too. Some even have one at the start, *and* one at the end! As the Sushi Chef himself, Nathan, has said on the thread, it simply takes whatever signal it is receiving, and just gives you "More" of it. I only have the Underground Accelerator, not the More, but my feeling is that it'd be best at the end of the chain, rather than at the beginning as a signal booster or something along those lines.
That said, it'll surely sound great anywhere in the chain!

I have the deep dish. The more is just the preamp from the deep dish without the compression
I use mine at the beginning of my chain because it takes magnetic and piezo pickups well
Also the beginning just makes sense if i choose to turn the compression up

I’ve got one on each board. I run them towards the front of the chain. They make everything sound more better.

I've never used this specific pedal but GENERALLY I like having a tube preamp pedal set near the edge of distortion (or maybe a tiny bit past) in front of any compressors in the signal chain. The reason I do this is to smoothen the transients a bit, which prevents the compressors from overshooting when I'm digging in hard. This usually gives me a much smoother compression. I can usually get away with FAR less gain reduction from the compressors and still get what I want dynamically. Of course I keep the tube pre at unity gain to avoid any gain staging issues downstream. I'm not sure this will be possible when pushing a one-knob tube pedal like this one to the edge of distortion (or if it's even meant to be used that way)?

This has been helpful info. I never really considered running it early in the chain but that is where I’ll start with it. Thanks everyone.
More is completely clean. It’s like an Effectrode LA-1A with the compressor turned fully off.
I use two. Both at the end of my pedal chain. I crank the volume up full on the 1st More then use the 2nd as a master volume.
I have my SB MORE near the end of my pathway, just before my preamp. I find that I enjoy feeding it all sorts of signals... modulation, envelope, drive. It takes any good thing and manages to make it richer. Definitely a tone morebetterer device.
TB does it again! 1 inbound from the box factory…
I swear by my RC Booster but if that thing actually emanates that green glow like that, I might have to check one out....

Run them both. That’s what I’m trying now and has been sounding great. I have the More pedal early in the chain and the RC Booster at the end.
The green glow is actually an led strip under the board.
