SVT 100?

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

This thing is for sale in Portland. Seems a bit pricy and I don't have the $ any how. I have a 70's V-4 and have spent some time with a 68 SVT. I cant imagine it would sound anything but amazing. Any one have experience with this verses a V-4 verses a SVT sound wise?

Bit of a rare bird. It was basically the Ampeg V5 (yes 5, not 4) with a modified pre-amp for bass. When SLM bought Ampeg from MTI they got parts for these amps, tweeked the pre-amp for bass, and sold them as the SVT-100. According to the ampeg book, they were a little over 100 chassis sent over in the buyout, so they aren't that common to find. Never played/heard one myself, but the V5 is listed as a marshall-styled guitar amp in the book.
