The 212AV is the cab I'd be checking out if I was checking out an Ampeg cab.

The 610hlf can take it, I believe. It'll handle 600w before fartout, and they say it handles 1200w before the voice coils blow, while SVT's can put out over 600w in peaks. But please warn me if you ever play in Florida so I can make sure I'm not in a 200 mile radius of your gig

I dimed my Heritage SVT rig when I first got it, and I swear I was going to puke. You doom guys...don't know how you do it.

When I first got my SVT head , I hooked it up to two 8 10's and cranked it pretty hard. I am fairly certain that that is what caused the East Coast earthquake a few years ago.

I made it! The dude was really cool. Apparently, he's an acoustic engineer for shure. We takes for about half an hour, tested the amp, and loaded it up!

Paid $870 and it looks brand new. I'll post pics later.

Now I'm at intelligentsia sipping some excellent coffee before I head over to Chicago music exchange.

Fyi, Chicago music exchange might be the coolest music store. Their demos on YouTube are excellent and they are all rad. The selection is insane.

Congratulations on the Classic aquisition!

I really wanted to purchase a used Classic with a nice flight case I saw for $750 a couple years ago (he kept lowering the price until it sold, thus the low price), but I had recently purchased two great used heads and didn't have the need for it or the spare money at the time; one of which was an SVT II PPE, so I figured the Classic wouldn't be that much different from what I already had.

Let us know how you like the amp once you spend some time with it. I'll be curious to see how you like it with the Aggie 4x12. Always been curious about those- I almost bought one of those a few years ago instead of the Marshall DBS 7412 4x12 that I ended up with instead.
