  3. My band is doing a heavy version of that tune.. we're calling it "Metal Melissa". Kind of a hybrid of "Melissa" and Metallica's "Metal Militia". It's fun. :D

    If the song is what i think it is its just called melissa and its by the Allman Brothers.

    What's the name of that song?

    An utterly simple and terrific bass line. Great tone, and has that classic tone of the era.

    Dickey Betts aint' noodlin' there either It's one of those songs where every note is well placed.
