Swing Bass

I searched but didn't see anything. Has anyone ever heard of Swing bass. I just found them on Reverb. Looks like they are a Korean Company. The bass looks like a Bassmod. I did find one guy selling one on here a few months back. They look good but how do them play. Electronics are easy to change.

I found some NAMM videos. They are another Jazz clone but really cheap.

I just bought one like your second photo on Ebay new for $400 this morning. Listed at $449 but they took less. They still have a few at that price so hurry.
As best as I can tell it is the same bass will the same pups, but different bridge and pre.
The others appear to have the upgraded bridge.

Here is the skinny on the Swing. First, it sounds pretty darn great. It arrived with an almost perfect set up. Some fret edges come stand to be smoothed out, but not unplayable by any means.
Cons:
No mid control
Not shielded, at least not enough
Boat anchor heavy. Not as heavy as my 7 string Conklin, but as heavy as my original John Myung Yamaha 6 string, but close.
Conclusion:
There will be more in my future.

Any updates? Anyone else bought one of these? No mid control doesn't bother me - I can dial in mids via pedal board although the model I'm looking at now seems to have a mid control.
How do they balance (5 string Jazz variants)? I see now they seem to have Hipshot licenced Ultralite tuners?

I've still been too scared to pull the trigger on a new one. If I can find a used one for cheap to try I would.

I don't know if it is the same company, but I have a Swing guitar from maybe six years ago (?). It was fairly inexpensive Strat style guitar, probably similar price to low-end Ibanez or Yamaha at the time, but with above average finish and good hardware not normally seen in that price range (Wilkinson bridge, locking staggered height tuners).

If it is the same company the basses would be worth a look.

These sre the basses that Bass Mods private labels. Difference is they plek the neck, upgrade the preamp and sometimes the pickups.
