Hey all, i'm currently in the process of reviving an old Ibanez Sr605 to a better playable state and was looking towards pickup upgrades.
From what i've read and heard online the Nordstrands in the new Soundgear basses are far and away better than the korean barts that came in
the OG Sr605 basses.
My question is on dimensions, is there any difference between the dimensions of these old barts and the Nordstrands they are using in the new basses?
If anybody has done a similar swap i'd love to know which model Nordstrands you ordered, if they were a direct drop in,
preamp options (perhaps using what i already have in the bass?) etc.
