Switching between viewing modes.

I normally use linear mode. The other night I tried out hybrid mode. I decided I didn't like it and now I have a problem. I can't lock my viewing back into linear mode. I can change it for the current page I'm viewing but as soon as I go back to the main menu for another thread I am stuck in hybrid mode again!

I checked my options and I do have linear chosen. I have tried toggling this to hybrid, thread and linear but it always goes back to hybrid.

Why am I stuck in hybrid mode????

The little critter was even labeled 'view thread' or something like that. Too bad all problems weren't this easy a fix!
