I'd say double life span of NPS rounds, and very consistent sound quality throughout with a slow smooth glidepath down to replacement.Could anyone speak to the tonal life of pressurewounds compared to the average life of traditional nickel or steel rounds?
I play the same kind of music as you. I like the D'add half rounds on my Am Std Preciscion. Use GHS flats on my MIM 50's Precision.

The tone from string to string was very uneven.
Texture was smooth but not the slick surface I had anticipated. Perhaps my own mistaken expectation of the feeling being more that of a flat wound string.
