SWR Anniversary Redhead - Change transformer to 220v

Hi there. Does anybody know where to get the transformer originally used for the European market? I'm thinking about buying a 110v version and change the transformer to 220v. Best Regards

The transformer is no longer available, hasn’t been for years. It’s a custom part.

I did that swap a few years ago, and got a transformer from Mercury Magnetics. I don't know whether they still offer it though.

Are you sure that it was for an anniversary, 400w, Redhead? Du you have the reciept with a partnumber or something? Thanks in advance

Actually, apologies. It was for an Electric Blue. I searched "SWR Electric Blue", and this was the first post that came up. I didn't notice the heading.

I just looked at the Mercury Magnetics site, and they still show transformers for Readheads. I don't know whether the Anniversary model is different though.
