This may be true, probably an 80/20 FOH/stage mix...but you can still hear the rigs. It's most noticeable when he starts the walk down thump line in the chorus, especially in SWR vid. There's no denying that foster tweeter, it's like a razor lol.

My SWR SM900 through my GIII cabs vs my SWR SM900 through my Epi PS410 were 2 COMPLETELY different animals. When I a/b'd one of my GIII's and my PS410 side by side using my SM900, I found the PS410 sounded true the tone coming from amp's DI signal where as the GIII cab was very colored with an exaggerated upper register.

I actually happened to find a/b recordings of my GIII and my PS410 using my SWR SM900. I forgot that I did an a/b recording of the 2 before letting my GIII cabs go. Guess I was smart enough to make sure that the Epi was what I wanted before taking a loss on gear lol. The recordings were done using an Audio-Technica AT4050/CM5 mic straight into protools with no additional eq. I used my Tobias Classic V with no compression and no changes to the amp's or bass' eq between takes.
