i have a friend who is selling this guitar for $200, is it worth it, ive never played one of these are they any good?

What kind of sound does it have?

she said she bought it for $400 from her music teacher a while ago

Even 200 dollars is quite a bit too much for them, I just checked Rondo Music's page and the most expensive "traditional series" SX is like 159$.

sounds like she's trying to rip you off, or she got ripped off herself.

its a rusty orange/brown colour and black is that helps

It's not a ripoff if the bass has been upgraded.
