T.I Flats _DR Sunbeams Report

I just changed out the Sunbeams on my fretless jazz. Put some T I flats on. The sunbeams had a much better maawaaaah sound then the flats But the T I flats had a much smoother sound no finger noise .Now if i could just get the maawaaah without the noise i would be in heaven.. Both sound really good -But i am keeping the TI flats on till i find something that will do both Maaawaah and smooth ......anyone found the magic string ?

I like both of the string sets you have tested. I have experimented with many sets trying to find the perfect string you have described, and have yet to find anything perfect.
The closest I came were the GHS Pressurewound strings. They do have the mwah of a round (which is what they started out being) but are incredibly smooth after being literally squashed. They are a little more mellow like a flat, therefore not as brite sounding as a regular round, or a TI for that matter.
My search continues on....But I'll keep the TIs on mine as well. I quite like them.
