TAFM Powersupply

Ok, i'm pretty much a total noob to effects, and all i have is my qtron and my new tafm which got delivered today.
My ac adapter for the qtron that came with it doesnt work with the tafm, why not? and what should I get? Thanks in advance

Not sure what a TAFM is, but all pedals say what power they require right next to the AC input.

I know it's 9v but idk how all the different power supplies work and stuff. Do i just find one that's 9v or are there special things?

Get a boss styled adaptor, they're the most common and will work on most pedals (9v).

9v dc, center-negative barrel-type connector. Same as the Boss adapters, the 1spot, and many many others.

I use a One Spot for mine and have no problems at all. OH and you can get a One Spot at GC.

I've had the chance to play with the Tourbox TAFM, and it will work perfectly fine with a 1Spot (which is almost always stocked at GC), a BBE Supa Charger, a Voodoo Labs PP2+, the standard BOSS PSA-120S, Rocktron DC-On-Tap, Godlyke Powerall, or any other power supply that is 9vdc output with a center negative orientation.

Great pedal. Hopefully soon I am going to be getting one of my own.

I sent out my dad to Guitar center today, he got the 1spot, and it works fine. Just the one for 1 pedal, but eh.
Amazing pedal though. Absolutely fantastic. I love it. I'll probably post a full review tomorrow.
