Here's the short of it.... I'm in a hard rock/metal band, we've recently lost our lead guitarist and are moving on as a four piece. The remaining guitarist has requested that I might need to play more (more notes, more runs, fills, etc.), and "add to my sound."
My current rig: EBMM Stingray, Mesa MP600, PH1000, Fulltone distortion (currently on only in certain spots of certain songs), and an EBS Multicomp (always on).
So... I know I can boost my mids, etc. to be heard more, but what else can I do to fill up the space left by the loss of a second guitar?
Got a product in mind? Octavers? Other?
All advise appreciated.
