Talkbass comeback

Hi guys. I used to be active on Talkbass years ago, but I stopped playing bass and stopped posting too. In fact I was such a TB-head that I imported Sadowsky bass, Schroeder Cab and Thunderfunk amp from the US to Norway! I sold off the cab and bass years ago but still have the Thundefunk somewhere on the loft (needs a repair).

Anyway I recently decided to pick up the bass again but with a different approach: went to guitar center and bought the cheapest bass they had! Recorded this little mac miller cover straight onto my iPhone, let me know what you think:


Let's see how long it takes before I'm back on the boutique gear - frenzy!

Thank you! I'll not take credit for the bass line - learned note by note the line from Mac Millers wonderful song Come Back to Life. As for the sound I plugged a cable into the phone and used a GarageBand amp. I have really struggled to get a decent sound when recording but thought this wasn’t too bad!
