Double Bass Talkbass: East meets West!

Well, that's a new one. Hippie and Metrosexual are fairly opposite ends of the spectrum. Which hole do you want to pigeon me into, Chris!? ;^ )

Neither, actually - just being silly. Kentucky rednecks don't need a reason to be silly since we have the built in excuse of being distracted while looking for our missing teeth...:ninja:

Marco, sorry I didn't make it out last night. I was down in California since last Thursday. Got back later than expeced last night and was dragging a fairly large helping of ass. Just couldn't make the turn and go back out. I hope you had a good show and a good meal. I'll catch you next time through or sometime when I'm back east.

Troy

Hey Troy, not a prob, thanks for the note. They treated us real well at the Triple Door, that upscale-y Asian food was killing, and so was that decadent bread pudding with caramel and vanilla ice cream (843 calories, per BITE). Wasn't happy with my sound the first night, but the second night another engineer stepped in and he got me a great mic'd sound for the house, it made a big difference. Seattle is lovely. Now I know why Bill Frisell got the hell out of NYC and moved out there. Too bad the gig fell on a weekend, otherwise it would have been cool to visit Mike Lull's shop in Bellevue.

best,
Marco
