TB etiquette regarding sharing recording samples?

I have just gotten started in recording, and I am looking for feedback/insight from more experienced individuals.

Would it be appropriate to post an early attempt at recording/mixing here?

If so, what is a good way to post audio files? Thanks!

There's a "totally amateur recordings" thread in the TalkBass "recordings" forum. Soundcloud is free for a 'basic' membership and I think you can post up to 1 hour (total) of recorded material.
