yeahhh Blood Sugar Sex Magik! Solid list of albums up there to choose from.

thanks. and I know that there is always going to be people say, "what about x" such as Yes, or Rush or Who studio album.

I got 20 choices, I picked 20 albums I read on posts here the most.

Well do a round 2 and include 20 other albums and then do a 1-1 or final four championship based on the results.

we gotta get votes- looking for about 80-100 votes for 20 options- winner should be a clear winner. i wont end it until there is a clear winner with like 20 votes. i feel like this thread doesnt get as noticed as the bass and amp threads.

Where's Hot Rocks? No ABBA? Bob Marley? CLASH?!?

and the list goes on and on and on and on...

None of the listed discs (while some are good, and I own most of them) are even in my top 10... maybe barely in my top 25.

I'm so glad that this is art and subjective, the constant competitions make me laugh... as if we all hear things the same way and are somehow all reaching for the same goal.

My #1 Album might be:

Curtis Mayfield's "Curtis/Live!"

good call on grateful dead. great album. i dont see this listed too much on here, just their live shows.

marley - i got legend, but its a best of. maybe i should have include exodus instead.

no rolling stones, ABBA, curtis mayfield or clash. i dont think they make the top 40 cut. i hardly ever read about them on here vs. these others. got to draw the line somewhere like james said.

james,

i thought you might say that. this is for album, not bassline or bassist. alot of mayfield's mentions are bass related. but in all the other album specific polls, i dont see them mention too much. whereas, steely dan is usally mention with teh aja album.

this is NOT my #1 album poll. i hate nirvana and pink floyd and i think that jaco is WAY overrated on here. but these are the albums and bands talked about the most on here. same with tool and their bassist and albums and all those other top 20 options. yes, i left out some rush, ALWAYS talked about on here and some Yes, but i think i got a good consensus from this site.

really?

after 70 or so votes and the #1 pick having a lead of twice that on the #2 contender, I decided to add the TB #1 album poll #2 semi-final thread. Is it now up, please vote.

RHCP BSSM advances to the finals. other contenders have yet to be determined.
