Most delay that sounds good on guitar usually sounds good on bass. My only "issue" is if you want to use it for rhythmic delay the strum tempo is not as intuitive as a tap tempo.
I bought the Alter Ego V2 and it sounds great, but I actually put the Flashback back on the pedalboard. I found the vintage delays muddy up the bass and I prefer cleaner delays.
