Silly question: It sounds like you're wanting more power... why not just get one powerful amp, instead of trying to daisy-chain some Elves? Then you have two different flavors on hand to fit whatever situation comes your way... rather than trying to band-aid a tiny rig for bigger gigs.

Not looking to daisy chain, was mulling over backups of similar configuration/output power/output resistance in case I needed a quick swap. 200w is the sweet spot for my gigs (when I have them again...).

And, yes, two ELFs should be two ELVEs!!

Yeah maybe the TC with more power and the built in tone print feauture.

I really like TCE gear, it sounds great and costs half of similar brands. I have the BH550 and the BH250 plus a variety of their cabs. I use the BH250 at home and at practices. It loads two toneprint effects that can be switched with a footswitch. Sounds great and easily hangs with a busy drummer using a 2x12 cab. For a little more money I think it would be more functional than the BAM200.

I never tried the BAM200 but did try a BQ500 and was underwhelmed and think my BH550 sounds much more alive. I once tried the Elf at Thomann and was blown away at how great it sounded for an amp that is smaller than a sandwich.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Elf, or the BAM or a BH250, or the Little Mark. All will amplify your bass. If you want a world class amp, get the Little Mark III, if you want the smallest amp possible, then the BAM or the Elf. The best compromise between small and sound? A BH250.

I have a BAM200, and no complaints, only enjoyment. It can be aggressive if you turn up the gain and ignore the silly CLIP light. It won't hurt anything. It sounds quite tubey to me.
