TC electronic bass head & cabs - any good?

i have a tc rs210 driven by a warwick 5.2... its pretty loud actually.. def one of the loudest 210 cabs.. i also like the cab's sound once the tweeter level is reduced. its pretty tough as i have travelled a lot with it and zero problems.. get the attachable trolley and you.ll save your back hope this helps..

I have played through a friends Staccato 51, with (2) 4x10" cabs. It sounded good enough, but my passive jazz bass sounded kinda sterile through it. I think that for the money, they should offer more tone shaping options. My Carvin BX1500 blows it away !

Sorry man, didn't want to shut down the discussion, just making the point that this is a bigger debate than tc electronic.

If that is the case, then I would not pair the 210 with the 410. Both cabs would see the same amount of power, which means the speakers in the 210 see double the power of the speakers in the 410. This may not be a problem when using the TC amps as they have a history of power spec abuse (The RH amps claim way higher power ratings than their amps are capable, but I am not sure if the BH has the same shenanigans going on). But as bass players we sometimes are fickle and might move on to a different amp.

If I was buying two cabs from TC to use, it would be two of their 212's.

This was one of the things that prompted me to unload my BH500, I didn't know whether the same sort of fudging was going with BH as was with the RH, but the perception was there and it made me nervous.
