Double Bass TC Electronic BH 250 head

Hi - I just rented one of these amps for a couple of days. It seems to do a good job. But i am wondering if anyone has used it with an upright bass? (The reviews I have found online all deal with electric bass.)

Any thoughts? Advice?

There is a thread about this exact topic already started if you do a search. I used one and with the right cabinet and a little tweaking it works fine. I used a atm35 mic and a fishman dual parametric.

Works great with my upright bass. I hook it up to my hartke hydrive 112 and it sounds full.
