teach me bass guitar

Hello all, i am just looking for opinions on purchacing software lessons. I am looking for an organized format of lessons. I Have googled best at home bass lessons and Teach Me Bass Guitar seems to be the best out there. I am ready to jump on it but was looking for opinions besides reading the reviews on that web site. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

i have been searching but cant seem to find anything about that software. it may be due to my inexperience with this Talk Bass Forum for this is only my second post since i joined. I must say though alot of great info throughout.

To get started, I used the Bass Guitar Method vol. 1 by a company called e-Media, purchased from Guitar Center. If you are a complete beginner and have little or no previous musical experience, this is an effective way to begin the journey, though it really does teach only the very basics.

Some may learn better via video's and books, however I took lessons from a instructor as much as I could before I could no longer afford it. Then I pretty much self taught myself from there. I myself do find the in person one on one approach to be a little better to learning. It's up to you to what you want to do though. Just make sure to practice :smug:
